The Liga Portugal strives for the values of Credibility, Aggregation, Talent and Spectacle in the organization, in each sporting season, of three major competitions sustained by the excellence of the football played.
A talent platform that projects and exports some of the best performers in the sport worldwide, in which 36 professional teams participate.
Liga Portugal is a private law, non-profit association, governed by the provisions of its Statutes and Regulations and other applicable legislation.

PORTUGAL BETCLIC LEAGUE

The Portugal Betclic League, the highest level of Professional Football, brings together 18 teams that compete against each other in 34 rounds.
The winner is guaranteed a place in the UEFA Champions League and the runner-up will play in the third qualifying round for the millionaire competition. The third and fourth-placed teams will qualify for the second and third qualifying rounds of the UEFA Europa Conference League respectively, while the bottom two teams in the standings will be relegated to the Liga Portugal Meu Super. The 16th-placed team will play a Retention Playoff against the third-placed team in the Liga Portugal Meu Super.

PORTUGAL LEAGUE MY SUPER

The Portugal Meu Super League, the second professional competition with 34 rounds, is made up of 18 teams, of which two are B teams.
At the end of the season, the two best-placed teams will be promoted to the Liga Portugal Betclic and the last two will be eliminated from the competition at the professional level. The B teams are not eligible for promotion, but may be relegated. The third-placed team will play a playoff against the 16th-placed team in the Liga Portugal Betclic in the fight for promotion. The 16th-placed team in the Liga Portugal Meu Super will play another playoff against the winner of the tie between the second-placed teams in the north and south series of the Liga 3 champion qualifying phase.
