  • Use of the website

    By using the Official Liga Portugal Store website and/or placing orders through it, the customer agrees to:

    i. Use the site only for making legally valid inquiries or orders.

    ii. Not place any false or fraudulent orders. If we reasonably believe that such an order has been placed, we are authorized to cancel it and inform the competent authorities.

    iii. Provide us with their email address, postal address, and/or other contact details in a truthful and accurate manner. They also consent to the use of the information provided to contact the customer (if necessary, refer to our Privacy Policy).

    By placing an order on our site, you declare that you are over 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.

  • Conclusion of the contract

    To place an order, you must follow the online purchasing procedure and click on "Confirm Order," after reading and accepting these Purchase Terms. By doing so, you enter into a purchase and sale agreement with Liga Portugal ("Agreement"). You will then receive an email confirming the receipt of your order ("Order placed").

    You will also receive an email with shipping information for the order ("Order updated").

  • Product availability

    All orders are subject to the availability of the ordered products. In the event of stock shortage, the unavailability will be immediately communicated, and any amount paid will be refunded within 30 days.
  • Delivery

    The delivery of all orders is subject to the customer’s payment of shipping fees in effect at the time of the order. The shipping costs include VAT at the applicable legal rate.

    Deliveries in mainland Portugal are made within a maximum of 5 working days.

    For international deliveries and deliveries to the islands, the delivery time may vary between 5 and 20 working days, depending on the destination.

    Deliveries within Portugal are made through a carrier designated by Liga Portugal, which is not responsible for any delays regarding the expected delivery dates. Deliveries outside of Portugal are made through a carrier designated by Liga Portugal and will be communicated at the time of payment confirmation. However, delays may occur due to any of the following reasons:

    · Product personalization;

    · Specialized items;

    · Unforeseen circumstances;

    · Problems in the delivery area.

    In case of inability to meet the scheduled delivery date due to reasons beyond our responsibility, the customer will have the option to maintain the purchase, set a new delivery date, or cancel the order, with a refund of the paid amount.

    All shipments to non-European Union countries (third countries) are subject to the payment of customs duties determined by the destination country, which will be the exclusive responsibility of the customer. In case of a return to Liga Portugal due to the customer’s failure to pay the customs duties they are responsible for, the customer will bear the cost of reshipping.

    Pickup at the facilities
    If you choose the "Pickup at facilities" option, you will receive a notification informing you of the availability for pickup. The order can be picked up in person (upon presentation of the order confirmation and the pickup code provided after the order is confirmed and processed).

  • Price and payment

    The prices displayed in this online store are in Euros and include VAT at the applicable legal rate at the time of purchase, plus any applicable shipping costs. The prices and specifications of the products on this site may be changed by Liga Portugal without prior notice, but will remain fixed from the moment they are shipped to the customer.

    In case of an error in the price information of a specific ordered product, the customer will be informed and can either confirm the order with the correct price or cancel the order, with a refund of the amount paid. If it is impossible to contact the customer, the order will be canceled, and the amount paid will be refunded.

  • Guarantee

    All products sold on our website are covered by the Manufacturer's Warranty, which lasts for 3 years and is provided by the respective brands. The warranty period begins from the date of delivery of the product.

    If you wish to activate the warranty, you must contact us (via email at lojaoficial@ligaportugal.pt) and send photos clearly showing the defect, along with the name and code of the item, as well as the proof of purchase.

    Please note that products damaged due to wear and tear are not considered defective.

  • Exchange and return policy

    Right to Withdraw from the Contract
    The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 30 days.

    This right can be exercised by sending a declaration to the email lojaoficial@ligaportugal.pt, or through any means by which the exercise of this right is clearly stated.

    The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs of the item in the exact condition it was purchased, with original tags. The contract cannot be resolved in the case of products made according to the consumer’s specifications or personalized items.

    The refund will be made via bank transfer within 30 days.

    Unless the customer returns the products to our facilities, the customer must bear the return shipping costs.

    The contract cannot be resolved in the following cases:

    i. Personalized items (name and number and/or badges);

    ii. Items with holographic authenticity seals without the original packaging and/or label;

    iii. Sealed products that are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons and have been opened after delivery;

    iv. Items that have been used or show signs of use;

    v. Items that are not in perfect resale condition, respecting the condition in which they were delivered to the customer.

    At the time of return, the products must be returned under the following conditions:

    i. Returns at our facilities: the product should be delivered to the reception at Liga Portugal (Rua John Whitehead, n.º 69, 4250-540 Porto), along with confirmation of the product's shipment, which can be presented in digital format;

    ii. Returns by carrier: when returning the product(s), the customer must contact us via email at lojaoficial@ligaportugal.pt to ensure the product is delivered to the original delivery location. The product should be sent in the same packaging it was received in, with a printout of the shipping confirmation.

    The refund of the amount paid will be processed within 30 days from the date the returned items are received at the Liga Portugal Store facilities, excluding delivery costs incurred.

  • Defective products

    In cases where the customer believes that the product does not comply with the terms of the contract at the time of delivery, they should contact Liga Portugal via email at lojaoficial@ligaportugal.pt, providing details of the product and any damages incurred.

    The refund of the price, the replacement of the product, or an appropriate reduction in the price paid for the item should occur as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days.

    The amounts paid for returned products due to any damages or defects will be fully refunded, including the delivery costs incurred for shipping the item and the costs the customer incurs in returning it. The refund will be made via bank transfer.

  • Size exchange

    In cases where it is necessary to exchange a product due to size, the customer has the option to request this by contacting Liga Portugal via email at lojaoficial@ligaportugal.pt, providing details of the product and the size they wish to replace from the previous order.

    Products can only be exchanged if they are in their original condition as shipped. They must be returned with all the items they came with, such as accessories, manuals, tags, and packaging materials.

    Any products that are damaged, not in the same condition as when delivered, or show signs of use will not be accepted.

    The exchange period is 30 days, starting from the receipt of the product by the customer.

  • Custom items

    This website allows the customization of products, in accordance with the present terms and conditions and specific instructions. Customization includes texts and characters selected by the customer.

    Due to factors beyond Liga Portugal's control, the actual colors, textures, and sizes may vary from those displayed on the screen.

    Given the nature of personalized products, exchanges or returns of these products are not accepted.

    Liga Portugal reserves the right to refuse customization or cancel customization orders, particularly in cases where inappropriate elements, third-party property, or illegal content are used.

    Liga Portugal is not responsible for texts or any personalized elements created by users of this service and assumes no responsibility for damages and/or losses that may result for any user(s) and/or third parties.

    Intellectual Property
    The customer acknowledges and agrees that all copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights related to materials or content provided as part of the website are owned by Liga Portugal or by those who have granted a license for their use by Liga Portugal.

    Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, of the Liga Portugal website, or of any part of the elements contained on it, is strictly prohibited.

  • Force majeure reasons

    Liga Portugal is not responsible for any non-compliance, even if partial, of any obligation if the non-compliance is caused by force majeure.

    The concept of force majeure should include any act, event, failure to exercise, omission, or accident that is beyond our control, including, but not limited to, the following:

    i. General strike or other forms of protest significantly affecting the country.

    ii. Public disturbances, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat, war (declared or not), or threat or preparation for war.

    iii. Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, landslide, epidemic, or any other natural disaster.

    iv. Inability to use trains, boats, aircraft, motorized transport, or other means of transportation, whether public or private.

    v. Inability to use telecommunications systems, whether public or private.

    Our obligations arising from the Contracts will be considered suspended during the period in which the force majeure events occur.

  • Partial cancellation

    If any of these conditions or any provision of a Contract is declared null and void by a final ruling from a competent authority, the remaining terms and conditions will remain in effect, unaffected by this declaration of nullity.
  • Applicable legislation and competent jurisdiction

    These Online Purchase Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable Portuguese legislation, with the District Court of Porto designated as the competent forum to resolve any issues arising from this contract. By using the online store, the customer accepts and agrees to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy and Data Protection Policy.

    Alternative Dispute Resolution:
    Customers of the Liga Portugal online store have access to alternative mechanisms for dispute resolution, which are less formal, less costly, and faster than traditional judicial processes.
    Specifically, the solution provided under Law No. 144/2015, which establishes the legal framework for alternative dispute resolution mechanisms for consumer disputes.
